Tip for trip- Winter / Skiing Kaprun/Maiskogel

Legendary ski resort is located only 3km from the pension Praga with a boarding place right in the center of this town. Skiing is possible directly on the Maiskogel hill - 768m.n.m - 1570m.n.m. on the slopes for less demanding skiers, or continue straight to Kaprun in the brand new 32-seat 3K-Konnection cable car. The Kaprun Glacier is ideal for freeride skiers as well as groomed ski slopes that reach 3029 meters above sea level, so there is always enough snow. There are 21 lifts, seats and cable cars and 61 km of slopes of all difficulty from blue to the dreaded black slope with the characteristic name of Black Mamba and a gradient of 63 degrees. There are also options for freestyle riders, as there is a modern snow / fun park with a well maintained half pipe.In this resort you can use the SKI ALPIN CARD, which means that with one ticket you can ride in 3 resorts namely Kaprun, Schmittenhohe and Saalbach.
